This site, Car Loan Calculator, is run by Xavier E., based in Texas, USA. Questions about this policy go to [email protected].
The numbers you enter
The calculators run entirely in your browser. The numbers you type aren't sent to us or saved on any server, and you don't need an account.
To make scenarios shareable, the numbers are added to the page address (the part after the "?"). That means:
- They're saved in your browser history like any web address.
- Anyone you send the link to can see them.
- If you open or reload a link that contains numbers, the address is sent to our web host when the page loads, and it may appear in the host's standard server logs.
Server logs
Like nearly every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when a page is requested: IP address, browser type, the page address and the time. It's used to keep the site running and secure, and we don't use it to identify you.
Cookies
The site itself doesn't set cookies or use your browser's storage to track you.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It does not use cookies. See the privacy policy for Cloudflare Web Analytics.
Emails you send us
If you email us, we use your email address and message only to reply, and we don't add you to any mailing list.
Children
The site is meant for adults planning a car purchase. It isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you and to have it deleted. Apart from emails you send us, we don't hold personal information. Email us with any request.
Changes
If we add or change services that affect your privacy, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
